April’s meeting was a fantastic time of song and testimony brought by Roderick and Anita Bettis. We were thrilled to see Joan Collier back with us. We also welcomed newcomers Geoff and Karen Ramsden. Joyce Espy was also there.
As many of you know, LaRaine DelCastillo passed away on Thursday. Please pray for the family as they make preparations for her funeral. Tina relayed that LaRaine requested prayer for her family’s salvation.
Let us continue to pray for Bob and Pat Lasater for healing and strength. Remember Phyllis Anderson as she deals with iron deficiency and infusions. Also, Bev has an unspoken request.
As many of you know, we want to rename the group to something different. We want to remove the term “Senior” from the title because it implies two things that might discourage people from joining us.
First, it implies age, which some may not be willing to acknowledge.
Second, for some it implies an advanced level of Christian maturity which could be intimidating.
We also would like to somehow incorporate the church’s mission statement: “Go Deeper”.

3. West of 60: Building a Legacy
4. RIFRAF: Rooted In Faith – Reaching Ahead Fearlessly
5. Heritage Builders – Reaching ahead together
6. Hope Fellowship
We would like all of you to have an opportunity to weigh in on the name change. I even had one member of the group offer to stuff the ballot box
